With PUBG coming to Xbox One later this month, developer Bohemia Interactive seems to be committed to being DayZ to Xbox One in 2018. The developer noted that they have a potentially large community waiting for DayZ to come out for the Microsoft’s console.
The studio confirmed its plans in its latest blog, not only the devs confirmed that the game will be coming to Xbox One but the game will also be out of early access next year and the studio is done with excuses.
According to the devs, they are completely committed and serious about the bringing DayZ to Xbox One.
As soon as the PC BETA is headed in a way we like, we’re still committed to bringing DayZ to Xbox, where we have a large community of gamers patiently (very patiently!) waiting for a truly hardcore online survival game. All of that will (and must) happen next year – meaning we’re just about to start what could possibly be the most exciting year for DayZ so far. In short: DayZ will be out of Early Access next year, and we’ll also finally deliver it to console players in 2018.
Make no mistake: this commitment is done taking all of our previous scheduling mistakes into the account. We’re serious about it.
With PUBG coming to Xbox One, Brandan Greene has confirmed that both Xbox One and Xbox One X versions of the game will be locked at 30 FPS.
He clarified that earlier he confirmed that Xbox One X version of the game will run at 60 FPS, however, both Xbox One and X versions of the game will run at 30 FPS.
He added that the team is still working to boost the FPS but are unable to commit to anything other than 30 FPS for both consoles.
DayZ is a survival video game currently in early access on PC and is scheduled to drop for Xbox One sometime in 2018.
