Assassin’s Creed Origins will be gracing us on consoles and PC later this year and fans of the series are excited about the game. The size of the game’s world has been a much-discussed topic nowadays, while Assassin’s Creed Origins will feature high-quality optional content but, Ubisoft has not really talked about the size of the game’s world until now.
Speaking with Game Informer, game director Ashraf Ismail talked about the Assassin’s Creed Origins world size. He revealed that while it is difficult to compare the game’s world size with previous entries but, the world is “at least twice the size of Havana from Black Flag”. However, he added that size of the world does not matter.
Having said that, I don’t think of the size of the city is what matters. It’s really the content, the experience that you have inside of it. It’s how alive it is. So we filled these locations with quests, with making each city feel unique to itself, why was it important to Egypt.
Ubisoft has also revealed that the upcoming game will also feature multiple protagonists but, the studio has confirmed that other protagonists will be limited to specific missions and also confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Origins will not feature multiplayer.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is an upcoming action RPG in development at Ubisoft and is scheduled to launch on October 27, 2017, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
