The 1st part of Act 1: Zofia’s Call is Ram Village that chronicles the start of Alm’s journey in Fire Emblem Echoes. There are no fights in this section and you only need to explore the village.

Fire Emblem Echoes Walkthrough Guide
You need to visit three areas in the Ram Village. In these areas, try to collect all the items, speak to all NPCs, and examine all nearby objects. First, head outside Mycen’s House to collect items and examine nearby objects. Now move to the Village Square to speak with NPCs and collect some more items. Finally, head to the Village Entrance to come across some townsfolk.
Collect all the items and speak with all the characters, saving Lukas for the last. After speaking to Lukas, head to Mycen’s House and agree to help Lukas. Now return to the Village Entrance to find Tobin and leave the village. While on your way to the Deliverance’s Southern Outpost, head towards the first enemy squad on the map.
It is important to remember that your units will not grow in strength if you do not let them fight. Therefore, it is a good idea to let your units fight whenever possible. While fighting, you need to have your strong units in the front and bring weak units to finish them. Start the battle with Alm attacking the nearest brigand followed by bringing in Lukas and Gray. You need to ensure that Kliff, Tobin, and Faye are out of reach.
In the next turn, use Alm and Lukas to deal with the brigands on the farther side and use Faye, Kliff, or Tobin to deal with the wounded enemies. This battle is easy and you should lose too much during the entirety of it.
In this battle, the Brigand Archer can hit anyone within about 3 tiles in any cardinal direction. You need to have Lukas and Alm get to the Brigand Archer and let Alm kill it. Once done with the Archer, proceed with the battle as you did earlier. You should also see a few ramparts on the map that you can use to replenish your HP.
At the start, Lukas will point out an enemy unit bearing a shield – having increased stats. You can defeat the shielded enemy to acquire its shield and hold it to reap its benefits. After the battle starts, move a majority of your units up the northeast path and a Mage as well as a Soldier up the cliff towards the Zofian Mercenary. Use the Soldier to distract the ZM and throw in Mage’s Fire-based spells to bypass its defenses.
Note that the Brigands have another Archer. Therefore, you need Cavaliers, Soldiers, and Mercenaries to lead the charge with Archers, Clerics, and Mages on the backside. Lastly, do note that Silque is an effective healing support and can deal decent damage with Nosferatu spell.
In the Southern Outpost, there are six Soldiers and an Archer equipped with a Steel Bow. I recommend using the Mage to hit him a couple of time with Fire-based spells but after dealing with some Soldiers. Proceed towards the battlefield and let the Soldiers come to you. Once again, try to use as many units as possible to let everyone earn XP.
At this point, you will have the option of either heading east towards the Southern Outpost Interior or north towards Zofia.
