Sony has been dominating the console market since the start of the current console generation. PlayStation 4 is not only showing strong performance in the US but also in the Japan.
According to a report from Media Create(via Dualshockers), overall PlayStation 4 sales in Japan has passed over 4.5 million units and is currently sitting on a total of 4,518,038 units as of Sunday, March 12th.
The PS4 Pro has sold over 200,000 units in Japan and is currently sitting on a total 205,502 since its launch on November 10th, 2016. The standard PlayStation 4 has sold over 4.3 million units and 4,312,536 units sold to be precise.
In related news, PlayStation Now service is already available for PC but more interestingly PC users will be able to play PlayStation 4 games as the service will now add PS 4 games.
With the PlayStation Now PS4 games coming on PC, gamers will now be able to play games like Uncharted 4 and The Last Of Us Remastered on their PCs.
It is interesting to see that the launch on Nintendo Switch along with Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild did not have any significant impact on the PS4 sales performance as it continues to sell in solid numbers.
However, Nintendo Switch has just launched and we will have to wait in order to see long term results.
