Capcom Germany Teasing Something on Twitter, Resident Evil 7?

An image was teased by Capcom Germany that could be a hint at Resident Evil 7, coming amidst E3 announcement rumors and alleged leaks, it sounds reliable.

Resident Evil 7
We all want to see Resident Evil 7 being announced at the E3 2014, however, Capcom hasn’t been vocal about it and all we have had until now are alleged leaks and hearsays. This time however, it is Capcom Germany that is teasing something.

What happened is, that the official Twitter profile of Capcom Germany tweeted a picture (see it below) and asked us to stay tuned. The image has two words: RESIDENT EVIL.

Now this could be anything related to the previous games too, but if it is, it would be quite a lame attempt at teasing. Knowing how Resident Evil 7 is being hyped about recently, I don’t think Capcom would tease something that vague if it wasn’t about the game everyone is talking about.

Nevertheless, it is just a picture and as of now, that is all we have.

Previously, costume designer Karen Brakenridge‘s resume at LinkedIn also claimed that she had worked as ‘a costume designer for the videogame Resident Evil 7’ for a period of three months.

Moreover, it was recently claimed by Japanese financial newspaper Sankei that the next Resident Evil game will be unveiled in June at the E3 2014. Here’s a translation of what their insiders are telling them:

“And then there’s the matter of E3. Set for June, the publisher plans to show off a major game of some sort for the PS4. Fans are getting increasingly hyped up for the event, as they take it to mean that a new Resident Evil game is on the horizon.”

Capcom has been completely silent on the matter, as expected from the makers of any AAA game that is highly anticipated like Resident Evil 7 is. We shall be waiting for any other sign to prove the speculation or the contrary and get back to you with it as soon as possible.
