Resident Evil 7 is Capcom’s next big AAA project that will release for consoles and PC. We already know that it is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One but there have been rumors of its arrival on Nintendo NX.
Now, Resident Evil 7 Nintendo NX version has been spotted, kind of. The game’s original trademark mentions video game cartridges, which we know is a rumored medium for Nintendo NX.

Nintendo NX already has a decent amount of developer support from various studios. Capcom is yet to confirm their plans for NX and this trademark alone is not enough for us to believe that RE7 is coming to NX.
Video game cartridges may just a stock phrase but the possibility cannot be ruled out, of course.
Nintendo NX is releasing in March while Resident Evil 7 is hitting shelves in February. It is possible that Resident Evil 7 is one of the launch titles for NX.
Lack of third party support is what killed Wii U but NX seems to be restored faith. Many devs are working on NX games and Capcom may just be one of them.
