Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLC 4 is Called “Salvation”
According to the Playstation Store, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLC 4 is called “Salvation”. The pack will have four new maps for players to destroy, and will also likely include one zombie map for people to play before the release of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and its new zombie map.
Black Ops 3 DLC 4 will apparently be playable at the Call of Duty XP event that starts on September 2 and ends on September 4, and will be launching after the event. Salvation will be the third Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLC to only be on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC, after the first DLC pack, Awakening, announced that after it Black Ops 3 players on last-gen consoles wouldn’t be able to play subsequent DLCs.
Black Ops 3 DLC 4 will be releasing first on the Playstation 4, and will be coming onto the Xbox One a short time after.
Whatever will be on Salvation remains a mystery, as Treyarch hasn’t given us any details on what exactly the DLC will involve. We can at least expect four new maps, along with a new zombie map that will add a new burst of both horror and absurdity to the zombies story. The last zombie map, Gorod Krovi, took place during the Battle of Stalingrad, but in addition to the zombies also involved a dragon.
Whatever will be coming with Salvation, we can at least expect it to be a good send-off for Black Ops 3 before Infinite Warfare comes out, though if Black Ops 3 continues to be successful after the game’s release (especially considering the highly negative reaction IW’s reveal trailer got), we may be seeing more DLC from the game in the future.
Thankfully we won’t have very long to wait until the new DLC comes out, and then after that all of the Black Ops 3 players can cause all sorts of mayhem to their heart’s content.
