Ever since the reveal of Mass Effect Andromeda, fans have been waiting to see the gameplay. But it has been two years since the reveal and there is no sign of Bioware revealing the gameplay.
However, it was expected that Bioware might reveal it during E3 2016, but it was also a disappointment as they only showed a behind the scenes trailer. Now the fans are starting to voice their concerns, as they are starting to speculate that Mass Effect Andromeda going through development hell.
But according to executive vice president for EA Studios, Patrick Soderlund, that fans will get their fist look of Mass Effect Anromeda gameplay in not so distant future. Speaking with Gameinformer, Soderland said that he understands that fans want to see the gameplay, but it will be revealed at the right time.
You’ll get [your first look at gameplay] in the not too distant future. I get people want to see gameplay and I just came back from a short vacation and I played through the first three hours of the game.
It’s very playable, and there is no alarm about, ‘Why aren’t they showing it?’ It’s strictly that the game will get the right type of exposure at the right time and that we can the right voice for it. Right now we’re focused on our big titles for [October through December], and when that’s done, we’ll shift to Mass Effect. You’ll see a lot more very shortly.
In related news, recently Bioware’s Ian Frazier took it to the Twitter and revealed that he reviewed a new mission for Mass Effect Andromeda. He noted that players can expect a mix of humor, characterization, thrilling combat and unique graphics.
Mass Effect Andromeda is a third person action RPG, and is scheduled to release in March 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
