PlayStation Experience Predictions: God of War 4, Demon’s Souls, No Man’s Sky VR

PlayStation Experience is just around the corner and we will be seeing lots of PlayStation Content, here are our predictions for the event.

We are heading into the final month of 2015, it has been an exceptional year for gamers overall but for Sony fans things have been a little quiet in terms of exclusives this year.

The start of 2015 was great, Bloodborne and The Order 1886 came out on PlayStation 4. We later had Until Dawn but nothing major has released ever since. However, 2016 shows promise and could very well be PS4’s biggest year yet.

Plenty of games are coming out and plenty are expected to be announced at PlayStation Experience. Sony will be looking to end 2015 with a bang.

PlayStation Experience is being held on December 5-6 in San-Francisco, where fireworks are expected.

It’s all about PlayStation next Saturday!

There are many opinions on what’s to come, but today we have compiled a list of predictions for PSX from our staff here at SegmentNext.

Here’s what we think is about to go down.

Demon’s Souls Remastered for PlayStation 4

demon's-souls

Released back in 2009 for PlayStation 3, Demon’s Souls is one of From Software’s masterpieces. It is right up there with Dark Souls and Bloodborne. Just recently From Software worked on Dark Souls II remaster and many predicted that Demon’s Souls will on Sony’s latest machine as well.

There were never any indication that it would, but just a couple of days ago From Software shared the following Tweet:

Such a Tweet coming so close to PlayStation Experience will naturally raise speculations of its arrival.

God of War 4

God of War 4 (1)

Fans have been predicting God of War 4 since Ascension came out. We were pretty sure curtains will be lifted at E3 2015, it was expected that Sony is going to end their stage time with God of War 4 but proceedings ended with Uncharted 4 gameplay instead.

Now we have our eyes on PlayStation Experience. God of War 4 will be at PSX, there are two reasons why we believe this is highly likely.

One, like I said, Sony wants to end a quiet year with a bang and I can’t think of a bigger bang than God of War 4. Second reason can be seen below:

God of War 4

Four Omega signs!

Either this a coincidence that something like this is shared so close to PSX and there is no meaning to it, or Sony is trying to hint at things to come. Our money is on God of War 4 at PSX!

PS2 Emulation Beta

PlayStation 2

PS2 Emulation for PS4 was recently announced by Sony but a formal reveal and details are yet to be provided. While it is pretty much a given that Sony will share details on how it will work, what we are most interested in knowing is when this feature will be available to users.

We think that Sony is going to make this feature available on PS4 in early 2016, meanwhile, a beta will kick-off right after PSX.

No Man’s Sky Coming to PlayStation VR and PS VR Price

no man's sky

When you look at PlayStation 4 console exclusive No Many’s Sky, you can see that it perfectly fits into the VR experience. We believe that No Man’s Sky is coming to PlayStation VR and PSX is where the announcement will be made.

Along with PlayStation VR version of No Many’s Sky, Sony will finally reveal the retail price of its VR headset.

Sony Bend’s Game

Sony Bend

There are many speculations about what Bend is working on, but what we do know for sure is that this game is Bend’s biggest ever. The studio, popular for making Syphon Filter games, has done an exceptional job keeping things under wraps so far; but we think PSX will finally bring forth the mysterious title.

Gameplay is unlikely, but we can expect to see a brief trailer of the project. Back at E3, Shuhei Yoshida said that he has played Sony Bend’s title and it is great. We can’t wait to see what the game actually is.

These were the five big predictions from SegmentNext for PlayStation Experience. In addition to these, we think Final Fantasy VII Remake Gameplay, The Last Guardian, possible new exclusive DLC for Destiny and Black Ops 3 will be shared by Sony.
