Sony Responds to Users Demanding a Better PSN
Sony Computer Entertainment has responded to the campaign demanding a better PSN.
PlayStation Network every now and then suffers from downtime, connection problems and more. It has been like that since the release of PlayStation 3 and Sony is often criticised for not doing enough to improve its online services.
When PlayStation 4 was announced and Sony shared their plans for paid multiplayer, fans hoped that now is the time we will see improvements made to PSN.
However, that hasn’t been the case as PlayStation Network still suffers from problems on a regular basis. In order to petition Sony to improve PSN, frustrated fans started a Twitter campaign called #BetterPSN. There was also a dedicated webpage started for this purpose. You can read more about that here.
Now, Sony has responded to fans demanding a better PSN and said they listen to fan feedback and are open to them giving suggestions for different features, according to a Sony rep:
Feedback from our community is very important to us and helps guide our ongoing commitment toward making PlayStation the best place to play. We encourage users to submit ideas on ways to improve PlayStation products and services here: http://share.blog.us.playstation.com/. We appreciate the dialogue we have with our gamers and have built and improved features based directly on their input.
Sony didn’t directly address the #BetterPSN campaign but the good news is that the message has reached them. Now we can only hope Sony responds well to this and brings us a better PSN.
