Dragon Age: Inquisition Voice Actors of Varric and Morrigan Talk About Their Job

If you are a diehard fan of the Dragon Age series, you would want to get acquainted with the people who are voicing your favorite characters in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

BioWare has released a behind-the-scenes video where the voice actors of two characters, Varric and Morrigan are talking about their experiences.

Varric, who has served as a party member in Dragon Age 2 and will be featured again in Dragon Age: Inquisition is voiced by Brian Bloom. In case there are some of you who are new to the Dragon Age world, Varric Tethras comes from the House Tethras and is a surface drawf. He is known for his acquaintance with Hawke and The Inquisitor himself.

Morrigan who is supposedly the daughter of the fearsome Flemeth, is a Witch of the Wilds and originates from the Korcari Wilds. She is a shapeshifting mage and is voiced by Claudia Black who will again become her voice in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Although it has been confirmed that she will not be one of the playable characters of the party, she is still going to play a significant role in the game. Black expressed her interest in voicing the characters in these words:

I love voice work because I can usually turn up without having bathed. [Voice acting] is extremely playful and it allows actors to be very unself-conscious. There are technical aspects to it — not wearing noisy clothing, and yet trying to make all the sounds come from your body because you can hear the difference when everything sounds too clinical and cold.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is going to be released in the third quarter of 2014.
