Haven is set up right above the planet’s Requiem’s surface. It may be a smaller map when compared to Complex or Exile, but it is not ‘congested’ like Abandon or Adrift. If you want to own on this map, read our Halo 4 Haven Map Strategy guide.
Halo 4 Haven Map Strategy
Haven features a two-storied setup and offers open-area combat on one floor and closed-corridor shooting on the other. The main area of action is the center of the map and there are many routes leading up to that area.
To manage the shield world’s solar preservation system Harmonic-resonance platforms appear. With the help of these machines, the artificial planets support their population.
Haven does not include any vehicles.
As said above, Haven might be small but its design offers a much wider sense of gameplay. There are many gaps, routes, paths that players can take to roam around between both floors. If you happen to reach the central platform, then you better pray, you came with enough ammo.
Scattershot: It is located in the bottom area of the map, right under the centerpiece.
Sticky Detonator: It is located in one of the corridors below the map’s first floor, close to a stairwell that leads to the second floor.

Tips and Strategy
As it is with every small map, Haven recommends players to be on the move. Stationary targets have a life expectancy of perhaps five seconds.
When you are above ground, try to stay away from the central platform and stick to the sides. Many players will just fall there and engage in battle. You can stick to the outskirts and cap as many as you can.
Beneath the ground, enemies will try to flank you. Those who fall from the platforms above will land below and then follow the U path to strike you from behind. Be ready to take care of any such players.
