Top Amazing Minecraft Replicas

El Castillo Temple (Chichen-Itza)
The El-Castillo Temple located at Chichen-Itza, Mexico is one of the more marvelous creations of modern mankind. Built by the pre-Columbian Maya civilization that lived there. It’s sole purpose was to serve as a temple to the Mayan god Kukulkan. This replica project was designed by a contestant participating in the NGT Challenges # 6 for Minecraft.

Taj-Mahal
The Taj-Mahal is a massive mausoleum located in Agra, India. Built as a token of love for his beloved third wife by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan.  It is considered as one of the most beautiful buildings in the world and a symbol of eternal love. Created by a few witty young players in a span of one week, this project is a great representation of skill and hard effort.

The Roman Colosseum
Ah, the Colosseum of Rome. A reminder to humans of their once brutal nature, the Flavian Amphitheatre is located in the center of the historic city of Rome. This brilliant replica was completed roughly in 9 days by a group of Minecraft builders, who call themselves Drunkenminers.

Star Wars Venator Republic Star Destroyer
It’s hard to think of anyone who has seen the Star Wars saga and hasn’t loved it. Same could be said for the Star Wars games. It’s harder to imagine that anyone would dare try to replicate one of its most prestigious ships: the Venator-class Star Destroyer. This magnificent behemoth was created at a scale of 1:4.5 in a span of 11 hours by 3 builders. It can’t really fly, but the view of the interiors and exteriors of the ship are simply mesmerizing.

The Reichstag
Now we find ourselves looking at the historical Reichstag. Yes, this is the very Reichstag of Berlin, Germany, which was once a symbol of power for the tyrant Hitler, and is now the house of the parliament of Germany. Though not entirely accurate, it is a commendable interpretation of the original Reichstag.

Titanic
Yes, this is the replica of the infamous Titanic made in Minecraft. It’s built on a 1:1 scale, so the size of this mighty ship is absolutely mind-boggling. According to the creators:

It is 509 blocks from stem to stern, 49 blocks from keel to boat deck and 41 block beam, funnels are 36 blocks high and the rudder 25 blocks high.

In short, it’s absolutely huge! The interior is yet to be completed, but it still has a great appeal.

Sydney Harbour Bridge
The Sydney Harbour Bridge replica is a good representation of the original. Sadly it isn’t lighted to give it the bling bling effect that the real Harbour Bridge has, but I think that’s something that no one would really care about.

Minas Tirith/ Mines of Moria (The Lord of the Rings)
Minas Tirith and the Mines of Moria; also named Khazad-dûm are fictionally created in J. R. R. Tolkien’s Legendarium. They have been seen in the movie The Lord of the Rings. The people who made this Minecraft replica even rendered these two creations which make them look even more realistic.

Arc de Triomphe in France
The Arc de Triomphe is one of the most famous monuments in the world. The towering monument stands in Charles De Gualle, Paris, France. Although in reality it is surrounded by statues, the creator of this replica claimed it was impossible to add those to his creation. Nevertheless, it is still a very tidy job.

USS Enterprise NCC 1701-A
Star Trek was probably one of the most successful sci-fi program in television history. The elegant and unique design of the ships awed and perplexed viewers. This replica is based on one of the largest USS ships: the Enterprise NCC 1701-A built by Admiral Kirk and Co from the fourth Star Trek movie. A ridiculous amount of hard work has been put into this Minecraft replica, as it not only contains the exterior of the ship, but also interior including the bridge and warp core.

Sonic the Hedgehog Mini-Game
Good news for all the Sonic fans out there. Minecraft includes a Sonic the Hedgehog 3D mini-game that can be completed with a redstone-powered digital stopwatch, checkpoints, power-ups and spring-loaded pressure plates.

King’s Landing (Game of Thrones)
Game of Thrones has become a modern-day Pop culture. Everyone, no matter which age group they belong to watch Game of Thrones. If so, then you might be familiar with the Capital city of Game of Thrones the “King’s Landing” and yes it can be found in Minecraft

The Winter Palace
Finally, we have saved the best for last. The highly detailed architecture of The Winter Palace. This city is considered as the “biggest and most detailed Minecraft city ever”
