Steep on Nintendo Switch

Nintendo fans were more than happy when Ubisoft announced Steep for Nintendo Switch and that is not the only game Ubisoft is planning to bring on the hybrid console as Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is also announced for Switch. However, it seems that Ubisoft is facing issues while porting the game to the hybrid console is the rumor is to be believed.

Steep was announced for Switch before its release and is expected to launch for it sometime later this year. However, it seems that Steep might not make it to the Switch. According to a report from IGN France, Ubisoft is finding it very difficult to port Steep to Nintendo Switch.

According to the site’s source, Ubisoft is facing “big difficulties” to port the game. The report suggests that running the game on Switch is not a problem for Ubisoft but, the actual problem is the online features. The report suggests that Ubisoft is finding it so difficult that the company has brought in Nintendo for help.

The source further claims that it is very unlikely that the game will ever make is to the hybrid console. However, it Ubisoft decides to kill the project for Switch then it might be disappointing for Switch users since the console does not have a big third party support.

Speaking of third party titles for Switch, it seems that Platinum Games might be planning to bring Bayonetta to Switch. The studio posted a very interesting image of its official Twitter account which might suggest that Bayonetta is coming to Switch.

Steep is an online extreme sports game developed by Ubisoft for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
