Ark Survival Evolved has been in early access for quite some time and players are waiting for the full release of the game. Studio Wildcard has revealed when the final version of the game will be available along with the release of Ark Survival Evolved TEK Update.
Studio Wildcard confirmed to 4Players, that Ark Survival Evolved TEK Update will be available in January 2017 and the final version of the game will be available in Spring 2017.
Senior gameplay designer Kayd Hendricks also discussed the equality among the PC and console versions of the game in terms of content. According to Hendricks, said that it is almost impossible to keep the content equality in PC and the console versions.
He added that PC version of the game is coming up at 1.0 and there will be larger patches that will be launched for the game in the future which will be available for all platforms simultaneously. As for the smaller patches, they will be first tested and released on PC and then they will be launched for the consoles unless there are critical issues.
He further added that the development team has a lot to do and they are working hard to deliver the game on the planned release date.
Recently, Studio Wildcard enabled CrossArk transfers on Xbox One. Developer Studio Wildcard has implemented an open-borders policy through patch 747, meaning Xbox One players of Ark Survival Evolved will be able to freely transfer their creatures and items between servers.
Ark Survival Evolved is an action-adventure survival game in development at Studio Wildcard. The game is currently in early access for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and is expected to launch in Spring 2017.
