The Last Guardian finally launched after 8 years of development and fans are now enjoying the game. While the game is beautiful and enjoyable there are still some issues with the game and to address those the developers has released The Last Guardian update 1.03.
The Last Guardian update 1.03 is now available for PlayStation 4 and weighs 167 MB. According to PlayStation 4 users, this latest patch shows the exact same patch notes as the previous updates.
Various other improvements and fixes have also been made.
While the patch notes do not tell anything about what has been changed with this patch but according to Reddit user LackOfLogic, “The Last Guardian update seems to have removed those annoying button prompts”.
He further added in a follow-up statement: “Confirmed – after approaching the barrels the ‘pick up’ button prompts are no longer present, and all the other prompts seem to be gone now”.
While the game got mixed reviews from critics but there are many players who just can’t get enough of it and for those players, publisher Future Press has announced The Last Guardian Companion book.
The publisher describes the book as an extraordinary story, which will offer “countless details about the inner workings and inspirations behind The Last Guardian’s mysterious world”.
The book will present “beautiful sketches depicting the designers’ intent, storyboard and screenshot comparisons of key moments, and never-before-seen illustrations”. The publisher further stated that the book will also work as an explanatory strategy guide.
