Star Wars Battlefront 2 Has Been Leaked By Amazon UK

Amazon.co.uk has put up a listing for Star Wars Battlefront 2 for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC, though there isn't a release date yet.

The United Kingdom’s version of Amazon has posted the cover art and price for Star Wars Battlefront 2, the sequel to DICE’s remake of the classic first-generation Xbox game. According to the listing, the game will cost 59.99 in British pounds. All three different versions of the game for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC have been listed.

The “first” Star Wars Battlefront game was praised for a lot of things when it released in 2015, such as its graphics and capturing the feel of Star Wars. However, the game was highly criticized for a number of things, including a lack of maps, no space battles, and being repetitive.

While the game has had multiple DLCs and updates released for it, DICE and EA may have mangled it.

The game’s image wasn’t helped by the fact that it was revealed a while ago that the game was rushed out onto the market in order to release with Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which might have prevented DICE from adding in a lot of things.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 will hopefully be given a bit more love and care during its development, and hopefully EA doesn’t intend to release it for a good while yet.

If DICE is able to work on it more than they did with the last Battlefront game we may now have actual space battles and more maps.

There is no release date specified on the Amazon page for Star Wars Battlefront 2, but it will be available for 59.99 on Playstation 4 and Xbox One, and 49.99 on PC. For now, you can pre-order it and it will likely be shipped to you when it comes out.

Considering that the next entry in the Star Wars sequel trilogy won’t come out until 2017, hopefully this means that EA won’t have DICE rush the game in order to get it out in time for the movie like the last one.
