According to the developers, the area of The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine will be as large as all islands of Skellige combined. As previously confirmed at PAX East, the expansion will also include a new Gwent deck named Skellige.

Coming to visual fidelity, the developers stated that the graphics for the new area in the expansion have been improved and CD Projekt Red was thinking of replacing the grass on the entire map with new/improved grass. Aside from the upcoming Blood and Wine expansion, the developers stated that they do not plan to remaster The Witcher and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings or bundle all three games into a single package. They may, however, think about The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt GOTY Edition with all DLCs, updates, and expansions.
