We have heard of DirectX 12 in connection with a number of other games in the past; like it was revealed that Just Cause 3 performance was improved using the API somehow, Hitman has also been reported to be developed using the new API, and Rise of the Tomb Raider also added related files to the game directory recently. However, Deus Ex Mankind Divided and a number of other games are also going to be powered with the API.
Microsoft has just released a new trailer for DX12 which has revealed, among other things, unseen footage of Eidos Montreal’s upcoming title.
That is not all, the trailer also features a list of DirectX 12 games that are going to be powered by the API first. This list includes Deus Ex Mankind Divided, Forza Motorsport 6, Quantum Break, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Fable Legends, King of Wushu, Ashes of the Singularity and Just Cause 3.
Needless to say, this list is not going to remain static, as more games will either be announced with support from the API or plans for existing games’ support for DirectX 12 will be revealed in the coming weeks and months.
