Euro 2016 is going to feature a total of 24 teams when it starts, but when the PES 2016 Euro 2016 DLC is released by Konami, it is not going to have official licenses for all of those teams.
It has been revealed that as many as nine of the teams that have qualified for Euro 2016 are not going to get the same treatment as the other licensed teams.
The teams that have been officially licensed are England, Wales, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovakia, Iceland, Turkey, Albania, Northern Ireland and France which is the host country.
On the other hand Romania, Switzerland, Russia, Poland, Belgium, Republic of Ireland, Sweden, Austria and Hungary are the qualified teams that will be a part of the PES 2016 Euro 2016 DLC but will not be officially licensed.
This will definitely be disliked by the fans because having only half the teams up to the standards of the tournament, with the rest being given a second hand treatment doesn’t add much value.
However, for the teams that have been officially licensed, Konami promised authentic faces and latest strips – these are some of the features that the rest of the teams will not have.
Similarly, there is only one tournament stadium included in the PES 2016 Euro 2016 DLC namely the Stade de France.
