Battlefield 5 Could Have Next Level Visual Quality, But Existing Level Geometry

Battlefield 5

We know that people want Battlefield 5 to go back in time to WWII and not Modern Warfare, and we also know that DICE already has a team of developers working on it since more than a few months.

Just like a couple of days ago it was rumored that the game might have a new animation technology, now another job listing suggests that DICE wants to have a next level of visual quality as compared to the previous iterations.

They are looking for a Senior Concept Artist, and the job listing reads:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Concept Artist who is eager to push visual quality to the next level on an unannounced AAA title.

While all this good, do note that they are referring to the game as an unannounced title and not Battlefield 5.

That being said, we have also stumbled upon one line in their work task examples that suggests some existing level geometry might be used in the game. We are not sure if they are talking about repainting levels that have been specially created for Battlefield 5 or repainted some from previous iterations, though.

Do keep in mind that these are speculations, and not confirmed details. DICE is yet to go official (and public) with news of the game itself. In light of that, it is suggested that you treat all this as such for now.

Currently, nothing has been made official about the game but at least one leak suggested that the game might be called Battlefield Armageddon.
