Xbox One BC: Halo Reach, Banjo, Fable 2 Improved by Updates

Microsoft has been adding new games to the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature regularly, but some of the games were not running as good as expected. For instance, the newly launched Halo Reach, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, Fable 2 and more.

Naturally, that is neither what all the fans expected nor what Microsoft wanted, which is why they have been working on updates for a number of games that have been reported as buggy.

Now, it looks like some of the updates are in place and people are already experiencing visible difference in the way games play. Some of the games that have decidedly improved include Halo Reach. The game’s campaign is equipped with anti-aliasing again and runs much better; even the frame rates have improved.

Same is the case with Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts and Fable 2 where a number of reports have assured a much better gameplay experience.

Since the list of games is long and we are continuously looking for verifications on which other games have been attended to, let us just list down games other than these that have gotten an update that improved things. There is Dirt Showdown, South Park, Gears of War 3 (at least the campaign has seen confirmed improvements), Super Meat Boy, Just cause 2 and some more.

If you were looking to play Mass Effect, however, let us tell you that the game’s Xbox One backwards compatible version is not perfect yet. There still are frame rate drops during fights, but apparently that is the only widespread problem for now.

Lastly, we have picked up word that at least Crazy Taxi, Rayman 3 HD and Portal Still Alive haven’t seen many changes.

Did you notice any other Xbox One backwards compatible games that have improved? Let us know in the comments below.
