When the Xbox One Elite Controller was originally announced at E3 2015, a number of customization values were noted by the analysts. However, Microsoft has not been willing to talk about the controller’s exact release date for some reason.
So what do we do when the officials are zip-lipped on something? We turn to the good old retailers for details they may have accidentally let slip. The good news is, Amazon did not disappoint us in the case of the new Elite Controller too, and we now have what could actually be a release date.
According to a listing of the Xbox One Elite Controller on their website, Microsoft will release it on October 27, 2015. It is listed with a price tag of $149.99. Guess what, that is the day we also get Halo 5 Guardians!
The new controller boasts of thumbstick and D-pad swapping, faster firing with Hair Trigger Lock, rubberized diamond grip and interchangeable paddles for more control and an easy to use app for more customization.
All this is pretty cool and it has managed to garner attention from the fans but so far we have all been waiting for Microsoft to launch the Xbox One Elite Controller so that the fans can actually try it out and see if it is worth $149.99 or not.
