Sony has announced a new line of exclusive smartphones and tablets inspired by the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
Fans of the series should definalty pick these up but there is a slight problem though, these are only unveiled in Japan and from the looks of it, won’t be coming to the west for now.
I wasn’t able to find any listings for it in North America at the time of this writing, but if you come across one, let us know in the comments below.
The new line of devices can be seen via a gallery below.
The release of these devices will coincide with Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Users can pick up MGS-branded Xperia J1, Z4 and Z3, plus the Walkman NW-ZX2 and NW-A16. Each of them is fitted with a pre-installed MGS V cover, wallpapers and select songs from Kojima’s masterpiece.
Interested parties can pick these up on September 2 in Japan.
As for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, it will release on September 1 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The game is said to be the last entry in the series, that will end the long running MGS Saga.
