Halo Wars 2 Teaser Site is an Elaborate Hoax
The next year or so will be packed with Halo action. Halo fans have already received Halo: The Master Chief Collection as their Christmas present from Microsoft. Enough to keep them busy until Halo 5: Guardians comes out next year.
Speaking of Halo 5, multiplayer beta of the game kicks off next month, but is it possible that we might see more of Halo coming our way? Is Microsoft planning something big behind the scenes?
How about Halo Wars 2? If a new website that popped out of nowhere is to be believed, we might see Halo Wars 2 being announced soon.
The website is teasing Halo Wars 2 announcement and has a countdown timer, ending on December 17th. You can check an image of the website above.
Furthermore, the site has a dialogue window in addition to a spoken dialogue by Serena; the UNSC Spirit of Fire AI. All of this is really exciting isn’t it?
However, before you get your expectations high, let me lay out some facts about this site for you. As a Halo-fan myself, I got really excited when I checked the site, so I did some digging.
TheHalowars.com is using Bluehost, a webhosting service provided by Endurance International Group. Why is this relevant? I’ll tell you why.
