Since last year, rumors have been going around about something called Assassin’s Creed Rising Phoenix and we have another evidence to support its existence.
First, a logo of the game was seen in 2013. After which it was listed by a spanish retailer, stating that it’s a PS Vita title and will be released on October 10, 2013.
However, that date passed a while back and we haven’t heard anything from Ubisoft.
The last time we came across anything regarding this title was when Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag came out and the logo of Assassin’s Creed Rising Phoenix was seen again in the game by an eagle eyed player.
Now, an easter egg in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Rogue suggests that Rising Phoenix might become a reality.
In Rogue, you will be able to see a poster in Abstergo which reads “ Assassin’s Creed Rising Phoenix Coming Soon.”
Since there are no details available, this might either be a game or an animated short film similar to Embers. At this point we can only speculate.
The only Assassin’s Creed title to be released on Vita was Liberation, and given its success Ubisoft might be planning another title to be released on Sony’s handheld.
If Ubisoft is indeed working on this game, then what better time reveal it other then next month’s PlayStation Experience Event.
Assassin’s Creed Unity is nearing release as well and who knows we might see some more of these Rising Phoenix easter eggs in their.
