ArenaNet’s Community Team Leader And UI Lead are Leaving the Company

The developer ArenaNet has suffered a blow, as their Community Team Leader and UI Lead have decided to leave the company.

ArenaNet, the developer behind the popular title Guild Wars 2 has suffered a big blow as two of their key members have decided to leave the company.

First up is their community Team Leader named Martin Kerstein and the other one is UI Lead, Kate Welch.

Both of these people will leave the company on the 4th of September, meaning that they are just in their final days at ArenaNet and August will be their last month as their employees.

Welch and Kerstein have been working on Guild Wars 2 before the game was even launched and they have done a pretty good job at their respective posts.

Guild Wars 2 is an amazing game and I hope that the departure of these two individuals does not affect the upcoming updates and quality of the game.

Guild Wars 2 launched in 2012 takes place in the fictional world called Tyria, where 250 years have passed since the defeat of the great destroyer in the Eye of the North Expansion.

Just like other MMOs, you start off the game by creating a character, for which you will need to choose from the available races and professions and continue to level up as you progress through the game.

What do you think of Kate Welch and Martin Kerstein leaving ArenaNet?
