There are a total of 24 masks in The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D. Each of these masks is unique in its use and it’s not essential to find all.
However, there are certain masks which are required by Link in order to complete certain quests and acquire Pieces of Heart.

All-Night Mask
Where to Find: West Clock Town – Curiosity Shop
Effect: This mask allows Link to stay awake for longer durations of time.
You need to stop the thief from robbing the old lady in the North Clock Town. Once this is done, you’ll be able to buy this from the Curiosity Shop for 500 Rupees on the Night of the Final Day.
Blast Mask
Where to Find: North Clock Town
Effect: This mask allows Link to cause a massive explosion; damaging enemies and breakable objects.
During the midnight of the First Day, you need to stop the thief from running away with things from the Bomb Shop.
Bremen Mask
Where to Find: Laundry Pool
Effect: This allows Link to make certain animals follow him around.
As Human Link, speak with Guru-Guru during the Night of the First or Second Day.
Bunny Hood
Where to Find: Romani Ranch
Effect: This mask allows Link to jump higher and run faster.
You need to put on the Bremen Mask and head towards the Cucco Shack. You need to have 10 cucco chicks follow you around until they all grow up.
Captain’s Hat
Where to Find: Ikana Graveyard
Effect: This allows Link to issue orders to Stalchildren as the Captain of the Ikana Army.
You need to defeat the skeleton in the graveyard to claim this mask.
Couple’s Mask
Where to Find: East Clock Town – Stock Pot Inn
Effect: This allows Link to end Mayor’s tiresome meetings.
For the Couple’s Mask, you need to reunite Kafei and Anju on the Night of the Final Day.
Deku Mask
Where to Find: South Clock Town
Effect: This mask transforms Link into a Deku Scrub.
Once you’ve acquired the Ocarina of Time, speak with the mask salesman.
Don Gero Mask
Where to Find: Mountain Village
Effect: This mask allows Link to talk to frogs.
For this mask, you need to calm the Goron Elder’s son down followed by bringing the meat (from the chandelier in the Goron Shrine) to the Goron in the Mountain Village.
Fierce Deity Mask
Where to Find: Inside the Moon
Effect: This mask transforms Link into a warrior of gods to aid him in battles.
You need to play all masked-children’s games and give them Link’s 20 non-transformation masks. Once this is done, speak to the final masked-child and receive the Fierce Deity Mask.
Garo’s Mask
Where to Find: Gorman Track
Effect: This mask transforms Link into a Garo.
Once you’ve freed Epona, defeat the Gorman Brothers in a horse race to claim this mask.
Giant’s Mask
Where to Find: Stone Tower Temple
Effect: This mask transforms Link into a giant.
For this mask, you need to defeat the Blue Twinmold and open up a Treasure Chest that appears in the area.
Gibdo Mask
Where to Find: Ikana Canyon – Music House
Effect: This mask allows Link to talk to Gibdos in the Ikana Canyon.
You need to head inside the Music House Basement and play the Song of Healing to receive this mask.
Goron Mask
Where to Find: Mountain Village – Goron Graveyard
Effect: This mask transforms Link into a Goron.
You need to use the Lens of Truth in order to follow the Ghost of Darmani to his grave. Once you’re there, simply play the Song of Healing to receive the mask.
Great Fairy Mask
Where to Find: North Clock Town – Fairy’s Fountain
Effect: This mask allows Link to have the Stray Fairies around him.
In order to acquire this mask, you need to collect the Stray Fairy in the Clock Town and restore the Great Fairy Magic.
Kafei’s Mask
Where to Find: East Clock Town – Mayor’s Residence
Effect: This allows Link to appear to people as Kafei.
This mask is given to your by Madame Aroma.
Kamaro’s Mask
Where to Find: Termina Field
Effect: This allows Link to perform Kamaro’s Hypnotic Dance.
You need to find Kamaro near the north of Clock Town at midnight and play the Song of Healing.
Keaton Mask
Where to Find: Laundry Pool – Kafei’s Hideout
Effect: This allows Link to call a Keaton at his will.
This is acquired from a man in the Curiosity Shop.
Mask of Scents
Where to Find: Deku Palace – Deku Shrine
Effect: This allows Link to smell the pungent scent plumes.
In order to acquire this mask, all you need to do is to follow the Deku Butler through the Deku Shrine. Do note that you can’t forget you way if you wish to obtain the mask.
Mask of Truth
Where to Find: Southern Swamp – Fearful Spider House
Effect: This allows Link to hear the thoughts of animals and Gossip Stones.
In order to acquire the Mask of Truth, you need to collect all 30 Golden Skulltula Spirits located inside the Fearful Spider House. Once you’ve done that, head outside and speak to the Cursed Man standing at the entrance.
Postman’s Hat
Where to Find: East Clock Town
Effect: A mask worn by the Clock Town postman.
In order to acquire the Postman Mask, you need to have the postman deliver the Special Delivery to Mama. You need to follow him to the Milk Bar and speak with him when he comes out.
Romani’s Mask
Where to Find: Romani Ranch and Termina Field
Effect: This allows Link to enter Latte in Clock Town.
During the Night of the First Day, you need to rescue Romani’s Ranch. After this, come back on the Night of the Second Day and find Cremia followed by escorting her to the Clock Town without any harm.
Stone Mask
Where to Find: Pirates’ Fortress
Effect: This mask allows Link to transform himself as a stone.
You need to use the Lens of Truth to speak with the invisible soldier sitting under the central guard tower in the Pirates’ Fortress.
Troupe Leader Mask
Where to Find: East Clock Town – Latte Milk Bar
Effect: This allows Link to receive Mystery Milk from the Gorman Brothers.
In order to acquire this mask, you need to use the Ocarina of Time on Link’s all forms including Human, Deku, Goron, and Zora to perform for Toto during the Night of the First Day and play different instruments.
Zora Mask
Where to Find: Great Bay Coast
Effect: This mask allows Link to transform into Zora.
You need to return the injured Zora to the shore near the Marine Research Lab followed by speaking with him.
