It has been 15 years since Rare released Conker’s Bad Fur Day, a game that rose to fame due to its crude and vulgar humor on the Nintendo 64, and now we might be getting a reboot with something called Young Conker – among other things like a HoloLens based HoloStudio App and another game called Fragments.
A NeoGAF user was able to dig into the Windows Store and fetch some hidden listings. One of them is for a game called Young Conker which is directly relatable to the original Conker game.
However, there is one problem. The listing shows that it is a Teen rated game which does not make sense given the type of content there was in thee popular Conker’s Bad Fur Day. It could be that Microsoft is toning down the content, but that will not sit well with the fans – we’d rather have the same vulgar humor.
Moving on, it shows a Mature rated game called Fragments. Some of you will remember that we reported on a trademark that was registered by Microsoft for the same name in late December last year. The name also appeared in the HoloLens concept video from over a year ago. At that time no one knew what it was about.
The third is a listing for an obvious HoloLens based app called HoloStudio, but there is nothing more to it.
In our opinion, both Fragments and Young Conker might be HoloLens based games. This is so because out of the three listings the app is directly related to HoloLens and Fragments originally popped up in relation to the AR headset. It is probable that all of them were put up on the Microsoft Store at the same time, as if Microsoft was putting things in place for HoloLens (to be officially revealed at a later date).
Could Young Conker also be a game for HoloLens?
