If you have not had the opportunity to enjoy Mortal Kombat 11, but among your plans is to buy it soon, we have great news. NetherRealm Studios prepares a test that will allow you to play the title for free and take a look at its content. Through the game’s Twitter account, it was confirmed that the test will be available this weekend for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users.
You can play for free starting Friday, October 11. The promotion will conclude on the 14th of the same month. The promotion will give access to all game modes, the full base roster, and even some DLC fighters. So, you can enjoy 2 chapters of the story mode, as well as play in the 1 vs. 1 mode and its online variant.
Also, The Krypt mode and Fatality training mode will be available at no cost. In Towers of Time you can play with 3 DLC characters: Terminator, Nightwolf and Shang Tsung. Below I leave a trailer of the promotion.
NetherRealm Studios will also offer the title with a special limited time discount. If after trying Mortal Kombat 11 you are willing to add it to your collection, you can do so with a 40% discount. This applies to the PlayStation Store and the Microsoft store. Your test progress will be saved and subsequently transferred to the full version of the title.
Keep in mind that you will need PlayStation Plus or Xbox LIVE Gold only in case you want to play the online component. True to their word, NetherRealm Studios recently released a new Mortal Kombat 11 gameplay trailer. In it, they showed us the first gameplay of the Terminator T-800 in action. Thanks to this, we can see how it looks in the game.
The first thing that will catch your attention in the video is that, in Mortal Kombat 11, the T-800 looks very true to its appearance in the movies, this is because Arnold Schwarzenegger let them use his appearance, even if he doesn’t have his voice. Who does not want to feel like Arnold Schwarzenegger while fighting bad guys, I mean, that’s a lot of action!
Another interesting point of the video is that his fighting style turns out to be true to what you would expect from this character, even in the way he walks and the posture he maintains when hit. As you can imagine, the video shows us several of the movements of the T-800 and several of them are based on the use of guns.
The cherry on the cake is that the trailer also presents its final movement and its Fatality. Recently, the NPD Group did a study to see what games will be the best-selling games in 2019. Mortal Kombat 11 ranked at number 5 in the study. Below I leave you with the Terminator T-800 gameplay trailer.
I remind you that Mortal Kombat 11 is available for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
