Aaron Greenberg: Xbox One X Is A “No Compromise Box”

Since the reveal of Xbox One X, Microsoft has been very confident about the console's and Xbox marketing chief has weighed on it.

Xbox One X was one of the main highlights of Microsoft E3 press conference and gamers are excited about the upcoming console with 6 TFLOPs of computational power that can play games at native 4K. Since its reveal, Microsoft has been very confident about the console’s and Xbox marketing chief has weighed on it.

Speaking with Gamereactor, Xbox marketing chief Aaron Greenberg talked about the upcoming Xbox One X saying that the system was designed specifically for 4K gaming and added that the console is a no compromise box as no compromises were made to achieve native 4K capabilities on this console.

We built this system to deliver 4K gaming. You talked about the 12 gigs of memory, the six teraflop GPU, adding things like liquid cooling and a vapour chamber that […] has never been seen in a console before. This was a no-compromise box.

We wanted to build the most powerful console ever made, a premium product with no compromises. And we also wanted to at the same time deliver an incredible set of developer tools so that developers would be able to get up and running right away and be able to make the best versions of their games on Xbox One X

Microsoft has certainly made no compromises for its upcoming console and developers are also taking advantage of its hardware. While the first-party games such as Forza 7 will run at 4K/60 FPS but, the third party games will also take full advantage of the console’s powerful hardware as Project Cars 2 will also run at 4K/60 FPS on Xbox One X.
