Xbox Anaconda Is More “Advanced” Than PlayStation 5, Reveal Next Year

After the reveal of PS5 specs, insiders are claiming that Xbox Anaconda is more advanced compared to Sony's PlayStation 5 console.

Xbox Anaconda, Microsoft’s next-generation Xbox console, is more “advanced” compared to PlayStation 5. Keep in mind that, advanced doesn’t mean more power and more user-friendly. Kinect was more “advanced” but failed to capture market share. PS5 specs reveal indicates Sony may be close to announcing its next-generation console and if that’s the case, Microsoft can’t be too far behind.

According to insider information, next year we will see both Xbox Anaconda and PlayStation 5 make a debut.

According to an interview Mark Cerny did with Wired, PS5 specs include a custom AMD chip from third generation Ryzen line of CPUs. AMD CPU used in PlayStation 5 features 8-cores on the company’s new 7nm Zen 2 microarchitecture.

The GPU, on the other hand, is capable of delivering Ray-Tracing and is based on AMD’s Navi architecture, one of the most powerful GPUs in the world.

One of the main focus with PS5 specs is to create better audio. Thanks to a custom unit for 3D audio PlayStation 5 redefine video game audio. The audio, thanks to PS5 specs, will help create a more immersive experience on PlayStation 5. Xbox Anaconda, if rumors are true, is going to be more advanced than PlayStation 5. However, we still don’t know enough about both machines to judge which brand will offer better specs. Both Sony and Microsoft have been working on next-generation hardware for over 4 years. We will finally get to see PlayStation 5 and Xbox Anaconda next year.
