World Of Warcraft No Longer Requires A Game Purchase But Battle for Azeroth is Still Purchase to Play

World Of Warcraft no longer requires you to purchase the game to play it, instead now it comes with a monthly subscription with free content.

These changes look permanent. All players can now get the subscription to have access up to the sixth expansion of World Of Warcraft, Legion. These all changes occurred suddenly when then pre-patch for Battle for Azeroth expansion arrived which is scheduled to release on August 14.

Battle Chests are no longer available and the subscription page tells that users can now jump straight into the action by paying just the monthly fees.

This change makes it easy for everyone to access World Of Warcraft which previously required the players to purchase the game. Now the players can just pay the monthly fees and play up to level 110 without any additional purchases.

However, if you want to play the latest expansion, Battle for Azeroth then you will have to spend $49.99 which will be a one time fee.

The Battle for Azeroth is the latest expansion of the game and Blizzard Entertainment is making many changes to the game which includes the removal of First Aid profession from the game.

First Aid profession has been present in the game since the release in 2004 and now finally it’s going away.
