There are many rumours surrounding Quantic Dream at the moment, one was if they would be at Paris Games Week or not. It looks like Sony’s Shu Yoshida may have given the best indication so far that they will be.
While talking to Eurogamer they came straight to the point and asked if the developers of Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls would be at the Paris Game Week, to which he replied:
“Well, they’re based in Paris, so… They’re great developers, and we’re excited to continue to work with them, so….”
While this isn’t a yes, the answer is exactly what most of us assumed. As Quantic Dreams are based in Paris, it is safe to assume that they will be there in some form. Will this be to show something new? Or simply show off the Playstation 4 versions of Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls? Whichever it is, it will still be interesting to at least hear something from them.
With the promise of a release date soon for the two updated games, obviously fans will be expecting this to take place at the Paris Game Week which takes place October 28 – November 1, and being based in Paris this seems the most fitting place to reveal it. Of course if they were to reveal the dates before this then I’m sure there will be no complaints from the fans.
Putting Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls aside though could there be any new games from Quantic Dream? To know this, we’ll have to see what they are set to reveal at Paris Game Week. If they actually make any announcements at all.
