In this Unravel 2 Collectibles and Secrets Locations Guide, we will guide you on how you can find and collect all secrets in all of the levels of Unravel 2.
Each level of Unravel 2 has a number of secrets waiting for you to find and collect. Some of them are right there in plain sight but some of them are hidden pretty well.
Unravel 2 Collectibles and Secrets
We have detailed the location of all the secrets that you can find in the game below so that you can easily complete your collection.
Completing your collection of all the secrets will unlock the No Stone Unturned Trophy/Achievement for you. Unravel 2 has 43 secrets in total spread across all the levels in the game.
Before we begin, it is important to point out that you can collect these secrets at any time.
You do not have to complete the level to make them count. Once you collect a secret, it is automatically registered and even if you leave the level, the collectible is saved.
These secrets look like small white glowing balls and are present even in the cutscenes of the game.
The game tracks your progress of secrets but does not tell you which exact collectibles have been collected from each level so you will have to keep tabs on that yourself.
Below you will find detailed instructions on how to find all 43 secrets in Unravel 2.
Level 1 – Foreign Shore
There are 2 secrets in the first level Foreign Shore for you to find and collect.
Secret #1
The first secret of this level is collected during a cutscene. When you start the game and meet with a new companion with Yarny, you will collect the first secret during this cutscene. It is one of the introductory cutscenes of the game.
Secret #2
Play the first level all the way to the end and during the ending cutscene, while opening the lighthouse you will be able to collect the second secret. You do not even have to collect it yourself, as your friends will pick it up for you.
Level 2 – Hideaway
This level has 6 collectibles for you to find and collect.
Secret #1
As soon as the level starts, during the initial cutscene, you will be able to collect the first secret of this level. Your friends will pick this automatically as well.
Secret #2
To collect this secret, you must enter the ventilation shaft when you reach that point of the level. Inside, you will see the secret hiding behind a pipe.
To get to it, leave one character at the upper pipe and swing the other one around so that it can bounce off the wall.
Once on the wall, simply jump to the top and reach the secret to collect it. Loosening the yarn too much will kill your character so be careful while lowering for the swing.
Secret #3
After getting off the slide, jump to the climbing wall and keep bouncing off its side to reach the top. The secret is sitting at the top.
Secret #4
This secret is found inside the ventilation shaft as well. This one is inside a closed cupboard on the wall so you will need to get a little creative to get to it.
For this, you will have to jump and hit the cupboard twice. The first time will open its doors while the second time you will be able to get the secret.
To jump to the cupboard, you will need a partner with you so jump inside the air pipe, which will take you to the ventilation shafts.
Once inside, stretch the yarn and use your partner. Quickly turn and rotate your partner to make him hit the doors. Do this twice to collect the secret.
Secret #5
You can collect this secret when you leave the ventilation shaft. You can see it sitting on one of the elements and it is easily visible because of the green color at the top of the screen.
For collecting it, leave a character on the machine, drop another one down, and make it attach his yarn to the point.
Once the yarn is connected, all you need to do is swing him up so that it can reach the treasure easily.
Secret #6
At the end of the level, a cutscene will play. Your characters will collect this secret automatically during this cutscene.
Level 3 – Little Frogs
This level has 6 collectibles for you to find and collect.
Secret #1
Your characters collect this secret automatically during the cutscene at the start of the level.
Secret #2
In the garden, when you reach the point where you must pull the characters to themselves, start running and attach the yarn to the point on the right while jumping. Now jump on the table to collect the secret.
Secret #3
This secret is located near the toilet. To collect it, jump on the door of the toilet and then reach the branch of the tree next to it.
Use the branch to jump to the roof of the toilet. Now make one of your characters stand on the roof while the other one can swing to collect the secret.
Secret #4
This secret is located behind the fence. Attach your yarn to the point and reach the other branch with your partner.
Once you are on the branch, make one of your characters stand on the roof while the other one can swing to collect the secret.
Secret #5
This secret is located in the protection of the chicken so you will have to divert its attention to collect the secret.
Simply leave one of your characters in the middle of the broken branch so that the chicken is focused on it.
With your other character, run away from the branch and then under the branch to collect the secret.
This will let you collect the secret without dying and the chicken bothering you.
Secret #6
This secret is automatically collected during the cutscene at the end of the level.
Level 4 – Nightswimming
This level has 6 secrets for you to find and collect.
Secret #1
This secret is collected during the initial cutscene which starts as soon as the level starts.
Secret #2
Upon reaching the big branch, all you need to do is enter the hollow by loosening up your yarn. Drop one of the characters in it to collect the secret.
Secret #3
While running through the broken branch, you will notice a hole at the end. Since you pass through this end anyway, you will automatically collect this secret.
Secret #4
You will this secret on the river. When you reach the river, make one of the characters run across the branch quickly.
Jump down on the other side and tighten the yarn. This will ensure that the other character will not fall into the water. Make the other character swing to collect the secret while staying alive.
Secret #5
Continue down the river until you reach the area where you are hit by piles. You are required to bounce off one of them so that you can hook the yarn.
When you manage to hook the yarn properly, loosen it and unleash the other character to make it jump and reach the secret.
Secret #6
At the end of the chapter, a cutscene will start. The last secret of this level will be automatically collected during this cutscene.
Level 5 – Is That All There Is
During this level, you can find and collect 5 secrets.
Secret #1
The first secret is automatically collected in the initial cutscene. This will play as soon as the level starts.
Secret #2
This secret is located behind the forklift truck. When you reach the metal device, leave one of the characters and the top and lower the other one below.
Loosen the yarn and unleash it to make it jump so it can reach the hidden secret.
Secret #3
When you reach the roof, you will see a large machine up there. Move one of the characters to the shelf and then swing the other one over the machine.
The second character also has the option to flip onto the blue pipe. There is a yarn hook here, which can be used to jump over to the other side of the machine.
Secret #4
You will find this secret between the hot plates. To avoid being burned, tighten up the yarn and bounce off the walls.
Secret #5
This is the hardest secret in the whole game. This is also found in the area with some hot plates.
Leave one character at the top of the area and drop the other one below between the hot plates.
Loosen up the yarn and keep going until he is just below the height of the hot plates.
Once the character dropped below is not at the height of plates, you will need to move it horizontally using the character sitting above.
Keep moving it horizontally and you will eventually reach the secret. Do not touch the hot plates as the character will die.
Secret #6
At the end of the level, when the cutscene starts, your characters will automatically collect this secret in it.
Level – Ashes to Ashes
This level has 6 secrets for you to find and collect.
Secret #1
Collected automatically by your characters during the cutscene at the start of the level.
Secret #2
When you reach the part of the level, where you must catch and lift a branch with the help of the red character, use the blue one instead and rush out and jump off the branch to reach the secret.
Secret #3
This secret is located in the area where you find a pile of cut wood.
With one character on the tree, use the other one to loosen up, swing across the jump to the logs of wood. Now simply jump to get the secret.
Secret #4
In the burning forest, you will have to eventually jump between the trees at one point. The secret is present between these trees. It is very hard to miss.
Secret #5
Near the end of the level, you will come to a collapsing building. When you have to jump over a burning piece of wood, wait for it to break up the wall. Once it is done, jump in the now-open area to collect the secret.
Secret #6
When you reach the end of the level, a cutscene will play. The characters will automatically collect the last secret in the cutscene.
Level – At the Rapids
In this level, you will need to find and collect 11 secrets throughout the level.
Secret #1
The first secret is collected automatically in the cutscene when the level starts.
Secret #2
While moving across the waterfall, you will be required to attach the yarn at a tree. This will be your first tree. When you attach the yarn, jump on the branch so high that you can reach the secret. If you jump too low, you will not be able to reach the secret.
Secret #3
This secret is located behind the waterfall. Leave a character on the rock and drop the other one until he is behind the waterfall. The secret is located there.
Secret #4
Keep following the level until you see a can in the water. You can jump on this can to reach higher places.
Jump on it and get to the branches above. From the first branch, jump to the second one where you will find this secret.
Secret #5
Reach the branch above the big rock using double jump. Now jump to the one above it where you will find a secret waiting for you.
Secret #6
This secret is sitting on the giant horizontal rock. When you reach the rock next to it, use double jump to reach the large horizontal rock. A single bounce off the cabinet is sufficed for it. You will find the secret sitting on top of the big rock.
Secret #7
When you reach the end of the waterfall, jump off the rock to reach another one using a double jump. Move to the front of the tree to grab the secret sitting there.
Secret #8
At the end of the waterfall while you are on the rock, look for a branch above it.
Jump to this branch and then rotate around the branch with the character still below.
When you are in place, swing the character up and he will land on the rocks up ahead. Collect the secret.
Secret #9
This is located at the top of the highest branch. Keep climbing branches and then reach the top of the tree with a double jump to collect the secret waiting for you at the top.
Secret #10
At the end of the waterfall, jump on the branch and slide off against it to gain momentum. Gain enough speed until it ends and then jump to collect the secret hovering in the air.
Secret #11
The last secret in the level is automatically collected during the cutscene that plays when the level ends.
