Uncharted The Lost Legacy is a few months away from launch and fans are excited to get their hands on the game. Naughty Dog is yet to showcase the gameplay for Uncharted The Lost Legacy and have only shown a cutscene for the game. However, the studio has confirmed that the upcoming game will support PS4 Pro and also revealed the features for the enhanced console.
In the FAQ for Uncharted The Lost Legacy, Naughty Dog has confirmed that the game will support PS4 Pro and will also support High Dynamic Range(HDR) and dynamic 4K resolution for the enhanced console. However, this does not come as a surprise that the game will support PS4 Pro since it’s a first-party title.
However, what is interesting is that it does not mention checkerboarding, which might indicate that Uncharted The Lost Legacy will be running at native 4K on PS4 Pro during the scenes where the game allows it. Also, the framerate for the enhanced console has not been revealed, we can only assume that the game will run at 30 FPS.
With the release of Uncharted The Lost Legacy, Naughty Dog will turn its focus to the development of Last Of Us 2, and the studio will say goodbye to Uncharted franchise. According to studio co-president Evan Wells, another Uncharted game from Naughty Dog is very unlikely after Uncharted: The Lost Legacy as the studio has a lot of stuff going on for it.
Uncharted The Lost Legacy is an action-adventure game in development at Naughty Dog and is scheduled to launch on August 22, 2017, exclusively for PlayStation 4.
