Uncharted 4 wraps up the story of Nathan Drake but that does not mean it is the last time we will see a game in the Uncharted franchise. Last year during PlayStation Experience, Naughty Dog announced Uncharted The Lost Legacy, a stand-alone expansion for the game.
This stand-alone game will focus on Uncharted 2’s Chloe Frazer and devs have explained why she is the focus of the expansion. According to Naughty Dog, Nadine and Chloe are in India in order to seek some sort of mystical artifact known as the Tusk of Ganesha (Ganesha is an Indian deity that is very widely worshiped in India).
According to the studio, Chloe being front and center in Uncharted 4 The Lost Legacy is in recognition of her being one of the most popular characters in the Uncharted series, as a favorite not only of Naughty Dog themselves, but also much of the game’s fanbase.
No release date has been announced for Uncharted The Lost Legacy and will most likely release in 2017 exclusively for PlayStation 4.
