Ubisoft Admits Zombi U Could Go Multiplatform

Zombi U could be going multiplatform! Just not anytime soon.

It seems Ubisoft’s Zombi U might not be as exclusive to Nintendo as we once thought.

Speaking to IGN, senior vice president of sales and marketing Tony Key talks about how the game could be ported to the PS3 and Xbox 360 after its released on the Wii U. Keys does admit that if this indeed does happen, it won’t be anytime soon.

ZombiU at its core was designed to be a great Wii U game and in order to make that work on other platforms they would have to change a lot of what makes the game cool. And I’m not saying that can’t be done, but not in the next six months, you know?

Zombi U is the first game to fully use the Wii U’s tablet controller in an intelligent way. People have speculated that the game was a Wii U exclusive, but now we know it’s not.

The game, same with the console itself, still doesn’t have a firm release date.
