When you’re wandering around Shantytown in Tomb Raider, you might have happened upon some strange creations made of wooden beams and cloth resembling a ghost nailed to a cross (it’s hard to describe ok?).
These are called Effigies and you need to find all five of them that are located around this area, burn them, and then pull them down using your rope arrows. Doing so will complete the Laid to Rest challenge of this area. Here’s where you can find the Effigies.
Effigy #1: Coordinates – 712571, 3416099
Location. You’ll find this one near a fast-travel camp and an old helicopter wreck. Use the fire arrows to burn it and rope arrows to bring it down.
Effigy #2: Coordinates – 712583, 3416069
Location. This effigy is nailed to the side of a building at these coordinates. You’ll recognize the building because it’s the one containing the tomb.
Effigy #3: Coordinates – 712592, 3416081
Location. From the Tomb building where you found the last effigy, head west along the rooftops to the next building (it’s sitting against a cliff). There is an effigy on the cliff face here at these coordinates.
Effigy #4: Coordinates – 712558, 3416112
Location. Behind the Helicopter wreck (near the fast-travel camp) there is a circular path on the edge of the cliff and a bit below you. There is an effigy along this path at these coordinates.
Effigy #5: Coordinates – 712564, 3416087
Location. To the south of the helicopter, there is a tall structure. The effigy is hanging off the side of it near the top.
