This challenge can be completed in the Mountain Village area of Tomb Raider.
You may notice a number of strange Buddha-esque statues scattered throughout the map. When you come close to them you can interact with them to light a pyre at their feet. For the illumination challenge you need to locate all of these Buddha statues and light their fires. There are ten statues to light up and here’s where to find them:
Statue #1: Coordinates – 712470, 3416160
Location. It’s pretty hard to miss this one, its right in the middle of the Mountain village in a small structure.
Statue #2: Coordinates – 712472, 3416201
Location. This one is located on a platform in the northern area of the village, on the left side of the waterfall.
Statue #3: Coordinates – 712488, 3416195
Location. On the other side of the waterfall from the last Statue, there is a ledge with a locked door that can be opened once you have the proper equipment. Inside is a tunnel where there is another statue.
Statue #4: Coordinates – 712508, 3416202
Location. At these coordinates, you’ll need to cross a log bridge and climb up a cliff using the climbing axe to access this statue.
Statue #5: Coordinates – 712501, 3416185
Location. On the center platform at these coordinates, go up the spiral stairs and find the statue at the top.
Statue #6: Coordinates – 712520, 3416192
Location. There is a camp at these coordinates, as well as a broken bridge across some water. Look to the left of the bridge and you should see a statue to the south, past some water. You’ll have to get wet to get there.
Statue #7: Coordinates – 712498, 3416184
Location. Go up the path that’s across the water from the last statue and jump off the edge at the end onto a beam/log. There should be a statue in front of you at these coordinates.
Statue #8: Coordinates – 712464, 3416189
Location. Remember the area you zipline down to after meeting up with Roth after the first rescue plane crashes? This statue is found in the same area.
Statue #9: Coordinates – 712481, 3416184
Location. Take the zipline right next to the last statue across the gorge. Head into the hut to your left and turn left again to see a ledge you can jump up to. The statue is located here.
Statue #10: Coordinates – 712454, 3416152
Location. In the southernmost area of the village (where there are some pieces of the crashed aircraft) there is a white wall you can climb to reach this statue.
