CD Projekt RED has announced Patch 1.12 for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Details for patch 1.12 are available for the time being but they should be shared soon enough.
According to Marcin Momot, Community Lead & Website Coordinator:

Previously, Momot mentioned that the patch will deal with Pickaxe issue in the RunSmith Quest.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was released early 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game is strong candidate for Game of the Year, alongside Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and the recently released Fallout 4.
