There is a new Assassin’s Creed game that is rumored to be called “Dynasty.” According to a new report from PSU, the new game is codenamed “Dynasty” and will probably be set in China. While there is no evidence to suggest that China is going to be the main location, the name does hint at it.
Assassin’s Creed Origins released back in 2017 after Ubisoft took a break from the franchise in 2015 following the release of Syndicate. The next Assassin’s Creed is expected to release in 2019 due to the franchise losing its annual release cycle.
This year, Ubisoft has Far Cry 5, The Crew 2, and possibly Watch Dogs 3. Skull and Bones is also in development and is set to release this year. Further plans are going to be announced at E3 2018.
Sources close to PSU didn’t mention Ubisoft’s release plans for Assassin’s Creed so for now, we only have an unconfirmed codename.
Kotaku is notorious for successfully leaking future Assassin’s Creed game but as far as PSU goes, let’s just say we should take this with at least a pound of salt.
Whatever their plans are, Ubisoft isn’t expected to reveal the next Assassin’s Creed until next year. Spaking of “revealing,” Ubisoft recently gave us “the hidden ones” for Assassin’s Creed Origins. It is one of the content updates Ubisoft is working on for Origins.
You can pick up Assassin’s Creed Origins which is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The title is also available as “enhanced” game for the Xbox One X.
