The Last Of Us 2 is one of the most anticipated PS4 exclusives and fans are eager to know when the game will launch and developer Naughty Dog has not even revealed the release window for the game. However, the game’s composer has hinted The Last Of Us 2 release date.
According to Youtuber “RobinGaming”, the clue about The Last Of Us 2 release date comes from the game’s composer Gustavo Santaolalla who recently gave an interview to an Argentinian radio show in which he revealed that his work on The Last Of Us 2 will complete by 2019 and this is probably when the game will release. Gustavo noted that “A project like usually takes at least 2 years to make. I’ve been working on it now for about a year and after my last concert at the 28th of October, I will be traveling to L.A. to keep working on the game.”
While this is not a confirmation but, it does give us an idea about The Last Of Us 2 release date and given that the amount of work Naughty Dog puts into its games 2019 release window seems likely.
In related news, Naughty Dog rolled out a new The Last Of Us 2 poster for the 4th annual Outbreak day celebration and since the poster has been rolled out, many fans have found that there is a hidden image in the poster and there are a lot of theories about it.
The Last Of Us 2 is being co-written by Halley Gross who is known for her work on the hit HBO series, Westworld. Neil Druckmann confirmed that Westworld writer will be co-writing the upcoming The Last Of Us 2.
