The launch of The Last Guardian is getting closer and the gamers are waiting to get their hands on the game. While there is still time before the game will launch file size for the game has been revealed.
Thanks to Twitter user Drunk Cat who posted the image of the back of The Last Guardian’s physical copy. The game will require 15 GB of hard drive space at the minimum which is quite low compared to the current industry standards where every other game has a file size of 45 GB – 50 GB.
Also, there copy does not have any PlayStation 4 Pro logo at the back which could indicate that the game might not support PlayStation 4 Pro at launch.
Recently, Sony published a video showcasing The Last Guardian unboxing of the Collector’s Edition. In The Last Guardian unboxing video, we see PlayStation social media manager Sid Shuman and PlayStation Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida as they discuss how excited they are for the game.
Also, the media kit for The Last Guardian contains a letter penned by game designer Fumito Ueda.
The message from Fumito Ueda references the long development cycle of the highly anticipated game that saw the game from being a PlayStation 3 game to a PlayStation 4 game. He also noted that as Shadow Of Colossus was a unique game, The Last Guardian will also be very unique.
It took 8 years for the game to finally come to retail, and many are excited about the game. However, there will be those who will wait for the review and make their decision. Well, Open Critic has announced that the review embargo for the game will lift on Monday, December 5 at 7am PT/10am ET.
The Last Guardian is an action-adventure game developed by Team ICO and will launch on December 6, 2016 exclusively for PlayStation 4.
