Since The Division launched it has seen its fair share of issues and criticism. However, lately it has been going good for the game as Ubisoft has either dealt with the issues or simply active users have decreased. Now, with Underground DLC released the active players might have increased, and in order to keep the players engaged, Ubisoft is bringing The Division Special events for Season Pass holders.
With update 1.3 the season pass holders saw the first version of the events implemented by Ubisoft. Now twice a month the season pass holders will see The Division special events, which will be a supply drop in the streets of New York outside of the dark zone.
Season Pass holders will see the location of the supply drop on their map, and when they reach there they will find the supply drop guarded by a group of level 32 NPCs(Non Playable Characters). If the players manage to defeat them, which they will, and open the chest they will receive three items of High-End or equal to their gear score.
On the 1st and 15th of every month a new supply drop will appear and will replace the old one. However, when update 1.4 hits the game, it will bring more variety to these exclusive drops at random locations with increased frequency.
In related news, during the last server maintenance which took place on July 14th, a quick update was released. The update increased the weapon damage for PvP, now players deal 20 percent more damage to other players in the dark zone.
Not only this the update also added more kill volumes to Dragon’s Nest map, and also when a player leaves the map the characters will be automatically killed.
The Division is a third person shooter developed by Ubisoft Massive for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
