Tekken 7 Unlocks Guide
Tekken 7 is the latest entry in the Tekken franchise. While there are 36 characters in the game available for the players to choose from but, there are other characters that players will need to unlock along with other locked content. This guide will help you with all the content that needs to be unlocked and how to unlock it.
There are a total of 37 fighters available for the players to choose from and one being the pre-order bonus. However, there is one unlockable character transformation and one character palette swap and we will detail how to unlock them in Tekken 7.
Unlock Eliza
Eliza is a vampire queen and is only available as a pre-order bonus for Tekken 7. If you pre-ordered the game then you have received a code to access her. Also, you can purchase her after a month following the game’s launch. There is no other way to unlock her at the moment and also completing the game will not unlock her.
Unlock Devil Kazuya
Devil Kazuya is the true unlockable character in Tekken 7, however, players can’t select him as a separate character to play as but, they will have to play as Kazuya and transform him in the middle of the match.
To transform Kazuya in Tekken 7 all you have to do is utilise Kazuya’s Rage Art and he will transform into Devil Kazuya.
Unlock Violet
Strictly speaking, Violet is not an unlockable character but a palette swap for Lee Chaolan. To see this colour palette for Lee you will have to select him as players 2. Aside from the colour, nothing will be changed.
Unlock Gallery Videos
After completing the story, players will unlock all of the cutscenes and can view in the Gallery. Just complete the story on any difficulty and no money is required to unlock these. As for the character story endings, they will unlock once you have to play with the particular character. Every fighter that is not included in the story has his/her own chapter that consists of one fight. Play the fight and it will unlock.
Unlock Legacy Tekken Videos
Players will also be able to unlock all of the character endings and special movies from past Tekken games. To unlock the videos, players will have to purchase them and each set of videos for every game costs money and the videos for the later entries in the series will cost more than the previous. You can unlock them by purchasing them so, no story completion is required.
Unlock Tekken Pachinko/Pachi-Slot Videos
Players can also unlock special Tekken videos based on Japanese gambling machines. There are a total of 15 videos and can be bought as a bundle for almost 500K. Some of these videos are 3D model showcases from the Pachinko machines based on the Tekken characters and some are just Anime cutscenes.
Unlock Concept Art
Players will also be able to purchase concept art from past Tekken games which will include promo artwork from every Tekken release, original sketches, and special collaborations frm all past Tekken entries. Players can purchase the concept art as a bundle or individually.
