Playing as Kazumi Mishima
Kazuya’s mother is finally playable in the recently launched Tekken 7. She primarily relies on her pokes and hit-confirm mids to whittle away at her opponent’s lifebar. Since she is a Mishima, she has access to the usual 1, 1, 2. Apart from this, she has a projectile that deals a small amount of chip damage on block. In addition to this, she has arguably the best i11 WS punish in the game that wallsplats.
Moreover, she has a WR2 that is – on-block but knocks back enemies. Furthermore, she is one of the few characters in the game that has a wallsplat throw that you can use to start-up a wall combo. It is important to note that she has a limited moveset so try to take advantage of everything at your disposal!
Coming to her combo potential, her combos are different from other Mishima characters in the game. As a beginner combo, you can use u/f + 4, d/f + 1, d/f + 1, b + 2, Screw!, d/f + 1, 2. If you need a slightly advanced combo, you can try u/f + 4, f + 3 ~ f, FLY + 2, b, f + 2, 1, 4, Screw!, b, f + 2, 1, 1 + 2. When it comes to her wall combos, you can either use d/f + 1, 2 or b, f + 2, 1, 1 + 2. While using the second combo, try to ensure that the tiger hits the opponent for additional damage.
