Katsuhiro Harada, the game director of Tekken 7, recently shared update on the upcoming console – Playstation 4 and Xbox One – versions of the game.
According to Harada, the studio’s current focus is on gathering feedback from fans and fix any issues before starting the work on the console versions. Harada promised that the console versions will include all sorts of ‘cool things’ and will be much better than it is now:
This does give us on the other hand the chance to polish up the game while people are playing in Japan in the arcades. And to add content – unlock characters and such. Eventually when it does comes out in console there will be all kinds of cool things in the game that we can’t go much into detail right now but obviously it would be much better than it is now.
In addition to this, Harada also mentioned that operating online arcade version of Tekken 7 in the U.S. remains a possibility but it largely depends on the operators and players residing in the area.
