Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order Gameplay Will Be Shown At 9:30 AM PST, June 8

EA Play on June 8 will have Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order gameplay, which will show off the game after it was first revealed at Celebration 2019.

Back in April at Celebration 2019, Respawn Entertainment showed off the first trailer for their upcoming Star Wars game, Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. Now, as E3 comes ever closer, EA announced on Twitter that they’ll show Jedi Fallen Order gameplay at their EA Play event on June 8. The game will be shown at 9:30 A.M. PST.

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is the newest Star Wars game from EA, and is the first to actually look promising after several years of failure and backlash over things like the Battlefront games and the open world Star Wars game that was supposed to be getting made.

The game focuses on a Jedi Padawan named Cal Kestis, who is doing his best to lay low to prevent the Empire from discovering that he is a Jedi. When he is forced to use his powers to save a friend, he finds himself now on the run and forced to re-connect with his Jedi past.

The fact that we’re getting Jedi Fallen Order gameplay at EA Play will hopefully be made all the sweeter by the fact that Respawn has made it a single-player only game with no microtransactions, a combination that seems rarer and rarer these days especially when dealing with EA.

Alongside Jedi Fallen Order, the EA Play conference will also contain segments for Apex Legends, Battlefield 5, EA Sports FIFA, Madden NFL, and The Sims 4, though we don’t know if there will be any new games being announced at the same time.

However, considering how much excitement has been building over the prospect of Jedi Fallen Order gameplay at some point after Celebration, this could be a make-or-break moment for the game. If it looks good, EA could finally have a successful Star Wars game with no downsides like the Battlefront games.

Either way, we’ll be able to see how well Respawn adapts to a non-shooter game when June 8 rolls around this weekend. The game will be releasing on November 18 of this year for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
