Fans of the Star Wars were disappointed to hear that Star Wars Battlefront will not feature a single-player mode. Dennis Brännvall, lead designer on Star Wars Battlefront has confirmed that Star Wars Battlefront Singleplayer mode is coming.
Dennis Brännvall is considered to be the best developer around for responding and engaging with fans, and he made no exception when a fans asked him if an offline content would drop before the release of Death Star DLC, which is scheduled to release later this year.
Star Wars: Battlefront Singleplayer Mode Confirmed
Brännvall just gave a simple answer, Yes, which is the conformation the Star Wars Battlefront Singleplayer mode is coming soon. This is the first time that the team behind the game has confirmed that Star Wars Battlefront Singleplayer mode in indeed in the works.
The singleplayer mode is the most requested mode by fans of the game, also a recent leak appeared on Reddit that showed “Instant Action” modes are already in the game’s background code.
Brännvall just confirmed everything regarding the singleplayer mode, except he did not give any specific date for the announcement. Now fans of the game will be waiting for some sort of announcement in coming days.
Come this Friday Star Wars celebrations will kick off in London, and several members of EA DICE will be present at the event to showcase the upcoming DLC to the Star Wars Fans. Let’s hope that the developers take this event as an opportunity to release the Star Wars Battlefront singleplayer mode.
In related news, EA has confirmed that Star Wars VR game will be launching later this year exclusively for PlayStation 4, and the game will be developed in Frostbite engine. The game will be playable in PlayStation VR, which will be available in retail in October for $399.
